From Rhonda
Hi, I'm Rhonda Thomas, creative arts director and chef at Faithfully Feeding The Forgotten. I know what it's like to feel forgotten.
I live at the Salvation Army, in a community of people rebuilding their lives. I've learned that healing can come in small, beautiful ways — a box of paints, a hot bowl of soup, a fresh loaf of bread.
Art and cooking both feed the soul.
Painting lets you turn pain into beauty. Cooking fills the air with warmth and the table with love. Whether it's blending colors or stirring a pot, both say: You matter. You belong.
What We Do
Every Sunday, we:
Worship
Christian community weekly on Zoom
Serve
Cook nourishing meals
Create Art
Make hope visible with art supplies or poetry
Care
Receive shower supplies & small gifts
It's not just food and art — it's dignity, hope, and human connection.
Ensuring the community walks away feeling better than how they entered.
Why We Need You
For many here, even a box of colored pencils or a bag of flour is out of reach.
Your donation gives both — the tools to create and the meals to share.
